About Me

Hi! My name is Kacey!

I am a new home owner of a 1989 ranch style home. My husband Andrew and I purchased our home in September 2013 knowing we had found a home with potential. There wasn't a room in the house that we want to leave the same, but we loved the layout of the house enough not to have to tackle huge projects like tearing down walls.

I am a 25 year old from North Carolina. We live in a part of NC that is 2.5 hours from the mountains and 2 hours from the coast! It's the best of both worlds. Not to mention our temperature ranges from 100 in the summer to as cold as 30 in the winter.

I spent 5 years of my life attending Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and loved every single minute of it. GO APPS! I much prefer the mountains over the coast (call me crazy), but my heart called me to Whispering Pines where my soon to be husband and I are going to start our life together. I'm now battling through Nursing school and trying to find the time to craft a little.

I'm new to the blog life, but have found a real passion in updating furniture to make it functional in my home. Every piece I find is an adventure. I by no means am a professional at anything, but I want to share my journeys, trials and tribulations with ya'll!
